Serial Trainer











A serial trainer is someone who trains three or more people in three or more separate events over a period of time. Many serial trainers suffer from Oversocial Personality Disorder and usually not psychosis, and thus appear to be quite normal and often even charming, a state of adaptation which Hervey Cleckley calls the “mask of sanity.” There is sometimes a sadistic element to the trainers. The vic..erm clients may have been completed/attempted in a similar fashion and the vic…erm (damnit) clients may have had something in common, for example occupation, race, sex, decondition, weight, etc.
The element of fantasy in a serial trainer’s development is extremely important. They often begin fantasizing about training during or even before adolescence. Their fantasy lives are very rich and they daydream compulsively about domination, submission, and murder, erm..damnit!

Mission Statement:

This blog serves two purposes. The first one is to help people. It’s just that plain and simple. I’ve been a personal trainer for over 10 years and have seen nearly every diet fad known to man. I have worked with elderly, children and women as a specialty. I have worked with men, as well. I can honestly say, working with men has been my biggest obstacle. Not only because of their insecurities but mine as well. It’s a two way street.

The second purpose is to keep myself motivated. Who keeps the trainer inspired when we’re yelling at you guys not to give up!?

Most importantly, I want to give you my own opinion, however expert you find it, to what I see and experience out there in the fitness industry.

This is my personal “Clash of the Titans” in many ways. I hope you enjoy the journey with me!
